Tradition and modern know-how go hand in hand. The company was founded in 1887 by Heinrich Julius Bögel. Located in Hamburg, known as the gateway to the world, the business soon turned international. The first imports came predominantly from Russsia, Romania, Morocco, Argentina and the USA. In 1904 H. Bögel was the first company to import fishmeal into Germany.

Besides our traditional strong presence in Germany and Europe we are also active in Asia. We strongly believe that business is never a one way street. Strong and trusting partnerships as well as reliable cooperation are the keys to lasting success.
